The Dadeville Public Library is located at 205 N. West Street and can be found online at www.dadevillepubliclibrary.com.
All citizens are welcome to the library. A valid picture ID and 2 proofs of address are required for membership (preferably a utility bill). All new members are allowed only 2 items for their first visit.
Circulation Policies:
- 10 books per patron for 2 weeks. *Renewals are acceptable only if material is not on the reserve list. Renewals can be made via phone or email.
- 5 audios per patron for 2 weeks.
- 3 videos/DVDs per patron for 5 days - NO Renewals
There is a book return located outside for the return of books ONLY after library hours!
Patrons are responsible for returning all library material promptly and in good condition.
Patrons with overdue library material will be unable to check out additional material until all overdue material is returned and fees are paid. The patron is responsible for replacement cost of lost or damaged material.
All video/audio material must be returned to the circulation desk. These items are fragile and require special care. Keep audio/video material away from direct sunlight and/or heat.
Copyright laws prohibit duplication.
Interlibrary Loans: We try to obtain requested material not available through DPL from other lending libraries. Interlibrary loans cannot be renewed and must be returned on the due date.
Copies: Black & white copies are $.25 per page
Fax Service: $1.00 per page to send/receive
Ten public computers with Internet access: You must see staff for additional rules and polices.
FREE WIFI is available!
Reserves: Library members may place library material on reserve. We do not hold the reserved material for more than 3 days after notification of availability.

Story Time: Tuesdays at 10 am. - Volunteer story time readers are needed and appreciated. Please call 256-825-7820 to volunteer.
Summer Library Programs: Programs are offered each year. Ask for information at the circulation desk or check out the main library website page.
GED: Free Classes available. Ask for information at the circulation desk.
